Our private counselling is a unique form of therapy. Intuitive body-based counselling combines conversation with meditation, imagination, and other healing modalities to access the best path toward healing for you, working with your body as a resource. We work together to resolve any issues or traumas that may be holding you back from the life you want to be living. This style of counselling is generally done seated in simple conversation, but may include bodywork, energy work, Reiki, and/or Tarot depending on what works best for each individual.

Everyone is different, but Julie recommends committing to at least eight weeks of weekly sessions to begin. It’s enough time to get to know each other, identify the problem/s, what might be sitting beneath the surface, and start to make some changes. For some people, that’s enough, while others want to continue. It’s up to you!

**Please note that insurance doesn’t always cover wellness counselling and we cannot direct bill. Check with your provider to see if your health spending or wellness account will cover my work with you.**

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that uses gentle, hands-on treatment to restore movement and balance in the body's structure. Osteopathic treatment is relaxing and inhibitory. Without the use of high velocity or aggressive adjustment, treatment appeals to the nervous system, allowing the body to integrate the corrections. Various treatment approaches help to ease pain, reduce swelling, reduce tissue tension, and promote healing.
Principle-based techniques such as myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, oscillatory osteoarticular release, strain-counterstrain, craniosacral, and visceral osteopathy are used collectively throughout treatment to reduce or remove restrictions in order to balance asymmetry to restore the body back to normal function. Alana draws upon her in-depth knowledge of anatomy to address the specific health issues of each individual and believes in working with her clients to achieve lasting health changes. Each rendered treatment is specific and unique to each individual.

Tarot Reading

This style of Tarot reading employs images on the cards to invite your intuition and subconscious to help you access guidance on a particular question or issue in your life. We work together to explore the images and meanings on the cards to help you gain clarity on what might be holding you back and how to move forward in alignment with your highest self.
